Euphorbia baioensis

Euphorbia baioensis

Euphorbia baioensis is a small, spiny succulent that forms a shrub shape from its multiple, erect, decumbent, dark green stems. The thorns are silvery making an excellent contrast. They produce small yellow flowers from spring through to summer.
As with all Euphorbiaceae the milky sap is toxic and can irritate the skin and eyes.

Succulent Care

Sun

Provide plenty of direct sunlight, at least 6 hours a day, for healthy growth.

Pruning

Minimal pruning is typically needed, mainly to remove dead or damaged growth.

Water

Water sparingly. Allow the soil to completely dry out between waterings, especially in winter.

Fertiliser

Feed with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer during spring and summer.

Soil

Extremely well drained soils are vital, they will handle quite coarse, gritty soils and go well in rockeries.
